Congratulations to the amazing co-champions, Deetya Vuppala & Yash Shelar, and runner-up, Dev Shah, of 2022 SpellPundit National Online Senior Spelling Bee! These spellers spelled many rounds of difficult words without giving up! The winning words are ‘liriodendron’, a genus name and ‘Fontainebleau’, a commune in France.

Thanks to the judges and pronouncers for conducting a 4-hour long bee smoothly. The SpellPundit spelling bee wouldn’t have been possible without spellers and parents’ cooperation and support!

SpellPundit National Online Spelling Bee Preliminary Written Tests

SpellPundit National Online Spelling bee junior and senior preliminary written tests were conducted this weekend. About 300 spellers registered for the event. We will announce the semifinalists on Tuesday Apr 12, 2022.

SpellPundit National Online Spelling Bee Written Tests

Spellers, be ready to test your spelling and vocabulary knowledge!

The SpellPundit National Online Spelling Bee written tests are scheduled at 11am, 1pm, and 3pm (CT) for junior and senior spellers on 9^th April and 10^th April respectively.

Parents or spellers are requested to be ready with primary and secondary devices half an hour before the written test. We also have additional primary and secondary devices demo set up scheduled on Friday 7pm to 8:30pm (CT), Saturday 8 am to 10 am (CT), and Sunday 8 am to 10am (CT) for first time participants.

There is a makeup test scheduled on Monday, 11^th April at 7 pm CT in case of technical difficulties or schedule conflicts. So, no need to panic!

The registration deadline for the SpellPundit National Online Spelling Bee is fast approaching (Mar 31 2022). Please register as soon as possible so your speller will have more time to prepare the 1000 list words.
