SpellPundit resources helped Zaila Avant-garde immensely achieve her dream to win the Scripps National Spelling Bee. Here is Zaila with the trophy and about SpellPundit in her own words:

Congratulations to the Scripps champion, Zaila Avant-Garde! Zaila placed 4th in 2021 SpellPundit National Online Spelling Bee. She mentioned in her interview to Scripps that SpellPundit helped her prepare 13,000 words per day. We are very proud of you Zaila!
Congratulations to the Scripps National Spelling Bee Finalists! The SpellPundit team is pleased that all but one speller is a SpellPundit student. Texas is representing well with four spellers in the Scripps finals. Here are the finalists’ names in alphabetical order:
Ananya Rao Prasanna from Omaha, NE is feeling grateful with the trophy! Ananya is the champion of the 2021 SpellPundit National Online Junior Spelling Bee that was held in April. She was also the runner-up of the WishWin – SpellPundit National Online Junior Spelling Bee competition, which was held in September 2020. Anaya outsmarted about 170 junior spellers to win the championship and consistently showed that she is good with words. The SpellPundit team is looking forward to see Ananya in many more spelling bee events in the future!

2021 Scripps National Spelling Bee Preliminaries completed today. The SpellPundit team is excited that many SpellPundit spellers qualified for the quarterfinals on Tuesday, June 15th. Looking forward to seeing them!
Saharsh Vuppala from Bellevue, WA is feeling confident with the trophy! Saharsh won the championship of the 2021 SpellPundit National Online Senior Spelling Bee that was held in April. He surpassed about 165 spellers and 20 intense rounds of spelling in the finals to win the bee. Saharsh’s championship word is ‘lootiewallah’ from Hindi meaning ‘a person who invades’ which he did in a way to outsmart other super spellers in the competition to achieve the championship. The SpellPundit team is very proud of Saharsh and wishes him good luck in the upcoming competitions!

Immanuel Goveas from Menomonee Falls, WI, is feeling inspired with the trophy! Immanuel tied for the 10th place in the SpellPundit National Online Senior Spelling Bee held in April.
