Here are two of Houston’s brightest spellers who have made remarkable achievements at the SpellPundit Senior National Spelling Bee. Ishika Varipilli secured an impressive 4th place, while Kirsten Santos earned a commendable 7th place.
Both finalists are now participating in the Scripps National Spelling Bee and are pictured with Shourav Dasari, co-founder of SpellPundit and a former Scripps National Spelling Bee participant. This event is particularly special for Shourav, as it marks his first time experiencing the bee from the audience’s perspective since his last participation in 2017.
