SpellPundit Online Resources
SpellPundit is a one-stop resource for all spelling and vocabulary bees. The software at http://www.spellpundit.com allows students to prepare for spelling and vocabulary competitions at an amazing speed and accuracy. SpellPundit is useful for both novice and advanced students. This website was developed by two well-regarded former Scripps spellers, Shobha Dasari and her younger brother, Shourav Dasari. This online tool has about 120,000 spelling words, 20,000 vocabulary words, and several thousand Latin/Greek roots, and homonyms words. All words have audio pronunciation, definition, part of speech, and language of origin. So, spellers can prepare independently without constant help from parents.
