History was made today! A record EIGHT co-champions emerged in the Scripps National Spelling Bee. Six of the eight co-champions used SpellPundit resources to challenge the dictionary and achieve victory. No 5. After many grueling rounds this morning, 16 finalists advanced to the evening final rounds of the Scripps National Spelling Bee. Out of these 16 finalists, 13 (listed in the graphic) have used SpellPundit’s resources to prepare for the national spelling bee. Good luck to all of these spellers tonight, and may the best speller win!

Congratulations to the Houston Public Media Spelling Bee champion Aanvi Manda and runner up Sankalp Gautam! We wish them all the best at the Scripps National Spelling Bee! Aanvi is a SpellPundit student and at 9 years old, she is also the youngest-ever champion of the Houston Public Media Spelling Bee!

SpellPundit student Harini Logan won the San Antonio Express News Spelling Bee for the second time in a row! Harini has been using SpellPundit resources for the last two years. We wish her all the best at the Scripps National Spelling Bee in May!

The 2019 Austin Regional Spelling Bee was dominated by SpellPundit spellers! Congratulations to the winner, Pranathi Jammula, and the runner-up, Pranav Nandakumar, who have both been using SpellPundit since its launch.

SpellPundit student Tommy Cherry, an eighth grader at Christa McAuliffe Middle School, won the Palm Beach County Spelling Bee.
